Well now that I finally have time to myself I can update my journal.
Okay here's a few things you guys don't care about: : )

I recently went to my school's second annual jazz and art show and was VASTLY disspointed. So much so, that I complained once, and now I am now in charge of decorating and advertisment for next year's show. Fabulous. Here's a random photo from the event: [link]

Anyway on to more pressing matters. My friend asked me to accompany her to an anime expo in August. Now I'm really not the anime obsessed type but being that I do love any reason to sew, and I DO in fact consider cosplay a form of fan art, I will be cosplaying as Sora, Roxas, and the final day Naminè. So look forward to that. That being mentioned, I've already started on a new excercise and eating plan, being that I feel I have no busniess in Naminè's dress currently. Haha. (btw for an awsome healthy snack, try a Babel mini cheese thing with half of a sliced tomato that has been seasoned with salt, pepper, and a half a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. It's better than sex.)
My friend being the extremeist that she is, will be sculpting her body to look like the characters themselves. So while she runs herself ragged, I will watch along with the last friend who will be joining us.
For those of you interested in KH cosplay I would suggest only this: have fun in the process and consider all factors of the location for the cosplay. Being that our expo is outside and in late summer (well Florida is ALL summer but I digress) I will be following the wonderful tutorial made by featherweight of cosplay.com which enables you to make a cardboard keyblade that looks strikingly excellent. My friend however will be making her's out of the heavist wood known to man and metal findings of the heavy sort. : ) I will enjoy laughing at her. lol
We will also be dancing the Soulja Boy dance and the Electric Slide at one point of which our friend will record so I can promise you all a video of me making an idiot out of myself. : ) Hoorayz!

Now for stuff you [might] care about:
I have decided to draw Poker face 3 and 4 by hand AND color them. Yes I caved in. Truth is, coloring the Massey in wonderland bit was not too time consuming with the layer mode on multiply so I'll be doing that.

Also I will be uploading a few tutorials I think you all may like and find useful.

I am going to be doing a few photography collaborations in the near future (this summer to be precise) with an aspiring photographer I know who may even be taking my birthday portraits. : )
The project is a retro hollywood theme wherein each of the gang will be clad in vintage attire.
Felipe will be dressed as a 007 inspired charcater, wielding a handgun.
Massey will be a gangster/mobster with a gattling gun.
Caleb will be a gentlemen complete with monocle and top hat.
Susan will be a glamorous gal complete with feathered or fur boa.
Rc will be a seductive girl with Spanish fan for mystery.
I will be dressed as Audrey Hepburn with a cigar (or is it cigarette).
And I still have to decide on the backdrop.

Also I am starting work on a special project I am planning on for my upcoming prom. I will be custom making two Master Chief armor sets for my friend and I to wear for a short while during prom. We have so mnay Halo junkies in our graduating class, I figure everyone will get a kick out of it. Also it's an excuse to make the armor. : )

Things you do care about:

Ironman? GO WATCH IT. It is so freaking awsome. I heard about Ironman when I was too young to understand. But let me tell ya, it is WORTH WATCHING! Go! NOW! x )

The book Stargirl? Never read it. It's a waste of your time. I read it in about 5 hours (<--Nerd) and it was VASTLY disspointing. A few pages into the book I still thought the main character was a girl speaking, none of the characters are well developed, the picture the book paints for you is clashing and bland, and the story is dissapointing in plot, setting, interaction amongst characters, and everything and anything else. AVOID THIS CRAP.

If any of you like my rants and/or thorough reviews on media or products get ready for the opening of my very own blog. started by and I, we become: The Silhouette Duo (with random commentary and article by guest speaker Rc). Back when Susan and I decided to try talking through messangers again instead of phone, we chose to speak with Yahoo. We were such goofballs over the BUZZ feature that we randomly RPed a radio show with ourselves as the hosts and callers "BUZZ"ing in. Yes, yes, I know, we ARE losers. lol After a while we dragged Rc into it. When things got stale we abandoned our radio show deal. Then when nostalgia set in, we thought things over and decided to do a blog. We will also be filming "podcasts" of our blog with us wearing official Silhouette Duo T-shirts and everything. : ) At least that's what Susan doesn't know yet. Ha!
