So I spent most of the morning today in the hospital. I got call on Sunday night that my parents were in the ER with my brother the staff was being rude and less than helpful. But that's another story that ends with a report being written up against the staff.
My brother had gotten some sort of stomach virus that caused his potassium levels to plummet and made him lose feeling in his hands one leg. He also had an extremely high fever.
Anyway, I stayed awake all night until about 3:30 am when my dad came home to sleep a little before work. In half an hour my mom called home so we could go and pick her up. So I stayed with my brother in the examination room at the ER for the remainder of the time. Fetched him water, got him blankets, called the nurses, whatever he needed. It was about 6:00 a.m. when his nausea finally passed, and at 7:30 the nurses told me his temperature was normal again. Around 8:00 am, he was finally transfered into a hospital room. I called my mom and she came over to see him. We left the hospital around 11:30 and my mom told me to go to sleep as soon as we got home. And sleep, I did. I woke up a few hours ago, called friends and messaged a few to let them know everything was okay. And now, I'm prepping a little entertainment kit in case they keep my brother there for another day.
Fantastically eventful.
So, sorry fore not replying to anyone's messages, I was planning to do that on my day off (Monday) but as you can see that slipped past me rather quickly. I'm not really thinking too clearly since I'm still a little light-headed from sleeping so much. Anyone else, hate that?
I'll try responding tomorrow after I get back from the hospital and before I head out to work.
In the meantime: Poker Face 4 is 50% done. DCC is 85% done.
And I finally got done with the stupid second boss in KH: 358/2. Day 193.
