Figured it was time for a new journal entry.
Okay great news! I finished a few things for DCC.
The comics that WILL appear there are:
:bulletblue:Wool
:bulletgreen:The GAMERS
:bulletpink:Kitsue & Company

Other comics and doujinshis will come whenever I feel like it.

:bulletyellow:That being said, I completed the logos for all three comics along with color charts for each of them. I added characters, took plenty away, and now I am doing concept art. The concept art will be posted here in promo deviations and after all of the promo art has been posted, and I have compelted 5 comics for each series I will open up DCC.
I'm signing up for a subscription and a The GAMERS art contest will begin immediately afterwards.
So the ball is rolling and everythings going strong.
All I'm going to do today is finalize the art for the remaining pages of DCC, tomorrow I'll do the title art for the actual site, Tuesday - Thursday I'll finalize the 5 comics for each series and Friday things will begin.
So get ready, the day is FINALLY here.

:bulletpurple:Along with the opening of the site, DCC will be getting it's own Twitter account. More on that later!

If I don't feel that I am comfortable drawing your request I'll let you know and we can work on some deal. But I doubt anyone will ask for anything TOO out of my safety zones.

haha okay i only just saw the link you set for me then... so i just did a quick sketch then and i will totally hopefully finish it, it's gonna sit on my desktop until i do something with it hahaa

ps: you know instead of watermarking everything like crazy you can just use the creative commons license which works really well because no one can use your art for profit but other people can still colour it and stuff without breaking any laws

As far as the Creative Commons License, from what I understand the loophole implies that others may still take your art but they just can't use it for profit. And I don't want anyone taking my hard work at all. But in any case, the reason I watermark everything so heavily is because by the time they save the artwork to try and steal it, they will realize that trying to photoshop out all of the watermarks is just a complete waste of time and not worth it to steal my artwork. A simple watermark is EXTREMELY easy to remove. So I just make a crazy text layer and then make duplicate ones at different angles, and BAM burglary discouragement : )
But yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not happy that I have to watermark things. It's just the safest way to go about these things.
